Ramstein AFB's commissary is the busiest grocery store I have ever seen. With the dollar going go against the Euro (this week anyway!), military personnel are shopping on base. Plus, it is hard to shop for foods they are accustomed to in Germany's civilian grocery stores. Kristin is walking toward the camera.

Daily life in Germany
Ramstein AFB's commissary is the busiest grocery store I have ever seen. With the dollar going go against the Euro (this week anyway!), military personnel are shopping on base. Um, Mom, wouldn't the dollar going up against the Euro make it more likely for people to do more shopping off base?
Oh, do you suppose the fact that its 2 days to thanksgiving had anything to do with the store being so busy? Just a thought. - Jared
